AES has convened several meetings with
representatives from community, indigenous, environmental, national, and
international organizations, as well as media representatives, including
domestic and foreign journalists, with the purpose of reporting on the
progress of the Changuinola I hydro power project and establishing an
open and direct dialogue with them. It has also promoted visits to the
project site in order to establish permanent communication and
vigilance.
